Found this place on a whim after grocery shopping at Jewel. Very glad we did, food was EXCELLENT! Food looked beautiful and tasted even better, seasoned perfectly and It was obvious that it was made from scratch. We had the mini (chicken) burritos - mouth watering good IMO, Crystal Lake combo & guac. And it was a great value for your money. Love to support local mom & pop places when we can and we will definitely be back!

Burrito, rice and beans is delicious! Good authentic Mexican food. I wish they gave you a larger chips and salsa when you dine in.

An authentic Mexican restaurant that has delicious food and drinks. I personally love the taco salads and the steak burritos. Great atmosphere and exceptional service. Give it a try sometime!

If you are ever in the crystal lake area and have a huge burrito fix you need to take care of... I recommend el burrito! Food was on point the service was fantastic, super pleasant, and helpful. Even fixed my order when I made a mistake! Great place great people great food

Food is excellent!!! Staff is very friendly. Glad we decided to give it a try, we will be back for sure. I wish we would have taken pictures because the food looked as good as it tasted!

Absolutely delicious authentic Mexican food. Have been coming here for years before moving, and now after moving back (having been gone for 7 years) was SO GLAD to see this place still going strong. Delicious guac. Great specials. Tortas, enchiladas, tostadas, huge burritos - you can’t go wrong with any of the food. Family friendly with a few kids meal options and they always get the kids food out quick - very important for those of us with hangry toddlers. 10/10 recommend.

Ana was great! The atmosphere and music was great and the food was just as amazing. I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants this one is definitely in my top 3. They also have an open kitchen and you can watch the cooks working their magic.
